Aftermarket covers on a cell phone?

I emailed dash and that didnt get me anyplace and the ebay seller said he didnt comprehend my specific phone brand. The battery incorporate went on fine but the incorporate on the back of earpiece wont come off. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I keep a sanyo 2300 cellphone with the sprint network and I bought aftermarket covers on ebay to put on my phone. I am afraid Im going to break something, I have gently pried and pulled on the contrary I can not get that off.
